“ Everything was great. Staff were very diligent and kind. Fish and chips were yummy and priced right. ”
“ Been here several times and never disappointed. I like the cod - great flavour and always well cooked. Coleslaw is great. Highly recommend this place. I don’t eat it but my family says the tartar sauce isn’t to their taste but everything else is amazing! ”
“ Ordered to go from such a nice gentleman. I didn't know whether to get a 1 piece or a 2 piece and he said get the 1. Instead of trying to talk me into purchasing more than I needed like some places would. Halibut was perfect, not greasy at all. Nice chips and the creamy coleslaw had just the tight amount of vinegar for tang. I'll be back soon! ”
“ Fantastic little fish and chips place! Great friendly service, cozy diner atmosphere, and the food was delicious! The halibut was perfectly done, and the fries were delicious, reminded me of the fries back home in Quebec. Hope I'm in the area again to come back! ”
“ Best value fish and chips meal. Real potatoes for fries cut on site. Family oriented. 15% seniors (60) on Thursdays. ”
“ We decided to drive from Mitchell to try this out after reading the good reviews. We were not disappointed. I got the platter with fish, scallops and home made fries. My partner got the halibut with shrimp and home made fries. We also ordered a side of coleslaw and each got a can of pop. Everything was very good and the owner was very nice. We finished up about a half hour before they were going to close and I think the owner was cleaning up in the back. So I called to him and he came out and we paid for our meals. I like how the owner gave us bottles of ketchup, shrimp sauce and tartar sauce so we didn't have to ask for extra. ”
“ Fantastic food, fish was lightly battered, fries were crispy, coleslaw homemade. Owner was pleasant and friendly you should definitely come eat here ”
“ Visiting from out of town, we decided to give Fish Time a try. While the restaurant is simple and unassuming, it also feels like a wonderful family-friendly place. Most importantly for me, the food was fantastic. The haddock and chips (only 12.19) was excellent, as were the onion rings and coleslaw we ordered extra. The highlight for me was that the batter is light, the meal was flavourful, and both of us felt great afterwards (sometimes I feel gross after eating fried food). They were also attentive with excellent service. Clearly, they're doing something right at this restaurant. Bravo to Fish Time - we'll be back when we're in Stratford again. ”
